Dr. Hilton Almond is a native of Orange County, Virginia, and is a graduate of the University of Richmond and the Medical College of Virginia, receiving his M.D. in 1965. He subsequently completed a Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at MCV. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced Gastroenterology and Hepatology with Virginia Physicians, Inc. since 1973. During his years at Virginia Physicians and the former McGuire Clinic, he has served as Medical Director and on the Board of Directors. Dr. Almond currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He and his wife Margaret have a son and daughter.
