The VPI laboratory is a full service lab that provides automated comprehensive testing for all of the Virginia Physician divisions. This includes hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistries, immunochemistry and manual serology and immunology. The lab is fully accredited by CLIA and uses the most advanced technology in laboratory instrumentation.

Dr. Beverly Gates, a board certified pathologist is Medical Director and all lab staff is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
