Dr. Vivian Fernandez graduated Cum Laude from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 1977 with a B.A. in Biology and Spanish. She completed her M.D. degree at State University of New York, Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York in 1981. Dr. Fernandez later completed a Family Practice Residency at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA in 1984. She and her husband, Michael Martinez de Andino, have three daughters and a son.
