Dr. Miller received his Doctor
of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1970 followed
by post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. In
1974 he joined the McGuire Clinic (a forerunner of Virginia Physicians,
Inc.) as its first Rheumatologist, where he has practiced for the past
30 years.
He is a former Fellow of the American
College of Physicians (FACP) and a current Fellow of the American College
of Rheumatology (FACR) where he was a founding member. In addition to
his private practice of Rheumatology, he holds a faculty position as
Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology,
Allergy & Immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV).
Dr Miller's practice is limited to Rheumatology with particular interest
in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout and other
Connective Tissue Diseases.
