Dr. Barbara M. Prillaman is a native of Hopewell, VA and completed her undergraduate work Summa Cum Laude at James Madison University in 1986 with a dual B.S. degree in Chemistry and Biology. She received her M.D. degree in 1990 from the Medical College of Virginia. Prior to joining the practice in July of 1993, she finished a three year residency program with MCV, at Hanover Family Practice where she served as Chief Resident in her third year. She and her husband, Cliff have a son and a daughter.
